Round fence post
In many fencing projects, round fence posts are used. From soccer fields and industrial areas to estate and garden enclosures, you can see a round fence post with separate fence brackets everywhere. Why do people choose a round fence post?
Round fence posts are often chosen because they are easy to place during installation. The posts always stand correctly because you don't have to adjust angles or surfaces. Additionally, these round fence posts are often used because these round posts are specified in the tender of a municipality or because it is an extension of an existing piece of fencing. A disadvantage of these fence posts is that the fence brackets are not pre-assembled as with the fence post multi. Fence contractors also often use the round posts because they are easy to drive into the ground with a post rammer.
Length of the fence post
The length of the fence post depends on the ground. The vast majority of fence installers choose a round post that is extended by 80 cm. This 80 cm disappears into the ground. Optionally, you can reinforce the fence post with quick-drying concrete for additional stability.

Post caps for the round fence post

Post anchors for round post
If you plan to place your fence on a paved surface, you must use a base plate for your fence post. We also have matching base plates for our round fence posts at Fenceweb. You can attach these base plates to the ground. If you are looking for extra safety and stability, we recommend choosing round fence posts with welded base plates at Fenceweb. These are not included as standard in our assortment, but our customer service is happy to assist you. The metal fence post is then welded to the base plate (post anchor) and subsequently thermally galvanized and powder-coated.
